Do the dwarves look different in the Hobbit than the LOTR?

I think they look a little more refined in the Hobbit films. They had to give each character some personality, since the story is about 13 dwarves (and 1 hobbit). The dwarves in the LoTR movies all look a bit cookie-cutterish to me.

And they all kinda look the same.  I'm glad for the differentiation in The Hobbit film even if they went against the book descriptions.  Film is a VERY different medium and we need that level of visual different to relate.
