Science Fiction Movie Marathons

I currently attend three different marathons on a more or less regular basis.
Boston and Columbus are 24 hour events. Cleveland (CWRU) averages about 30 hours. All have been in existence for 30 yrs.+
Columbus was delayed this year. The others went on as scheduled.
Questions:
1. Are there any other worthy events that people would like to recommend?
2. Any conversation, comments, or conversation that people would like to have about Marathons?

I've never attended a scifi movie marathon, but I've sat in on movies at conventions, which tend to play 24/7 during the cons (so not really /7).

I guess they were inspired by the CWRU movie marathon tradition.
