Why doesn’t Hollywood tell a true Lone Ranger movie?

Never heard of him before you started this discussion but I agree that someone should probably do a mainstream film adaptation of his life. 3,000 arrests in his career as a U.S. Marshal. And he was in a few gunfights.

Oh, yes, he was an African-American. I hate to say it, but Hollywood still struggles to tell a lot of good stories because of a lack of interest in African-American history.
