Do they get a bum rap or a bum deal? Many child actors grow out of the roles for which they are famous and, being typecast as the children they once were find it difficult to win more adult roles. Of course, a lot of them simply grow tired of acting and move on to other things.

I'd love to see one of my childhood crushes, Pamelyn Ferdin, play the mom or grandmom in
some adaptation of some classic story. Exactly as Michael said, she got tired of acting when
she hit college, but I'm sure she'd be up for one more role. Darleen Carr, Angela Cartwright, and of
course Eve Plumb, Maureen McCormick, and Valerie Bertinelli would be nice too.
