I think Norton had a lot of influence on shows like Stargate SG-1, even if it was a multigenerational influence. While her stories often focused on personal discovery of greater destinies her worlds usually featured remnants of ancient civilizations and mysterious powerful alien beings, both of which were staples of the television show and its spinoffs.
