I believe it is time to make The catcher in the rye to have a movie. I would like to see Charlie Sheen in it.
Which classic novels do you think need a modern film version?

As the lead? Isn't he about 35 years too old?

I've got nothing against Sheen, but Holden Caulfield wasn't that much of a mess!

I'd like to see Wes Andersen (Moonrise Kindgom) direct a film version of A Wrinkle in Time.

I would love to see Tom Sawyer, Abroad retold as a modern story (in space, not in a balloon). I doubt most people are familiar with that book but it was the fourth and last of the four Tom Sawyer/Huckleberry Finn books. It was my favorite when I was growing up.
