Don't know. I am not a fan of Dawkins as I don't find him to be either very interesting or very rational. I doubt many people would want to watch such a movie. It might work better as a television project. There was a documentary about him in 2013 ("The Unbelievers") but that was, I believe, an American production. I did not watch it and Rotten Tomatoes' audience doesn't seem to think much of it. Literally, they did not think of it very much. There are like 9 reviews there and 1100 user ratings.

There seem to be a ton of documentaries in which he has appeared, most of which he seems to have produced himself. There aren't
a whole lot of successful bio films about scientists or academicians these days, unless there is some added issue, like a condition or disease, i.e. A Beautiful Mind, and the films about Stephen Hawking and Temple Grandin. Then again, if it's the BBC, it would just be a television special, so maybe just a documentary not an actual dramatic film. (It would be so helpful if you could post the link where you read these things. ![]() looking at his bio, I would guess I've probably seen him on assorted news/cable shows, and probably surfed away within seconds, but off the top of my head, I had no idea who he was, and in fact at first thought "Oh wow - Newkirk from Hogan's Heroes - I'd love to see a movie about his life."

Yeah...I'm not sure about him. I haven't read his books, but I think his attitude does more harm than it does good. He often comes off as smarmy and arrogant, which I think
puts a lot of people off. |
