A comeback? The live-action superhero shows neve had much of a heyday to begin with. And animated shows have always been around.

There have been many attempts to make live-action shows. Here are but a few...

--Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (TV Series 1976)
--The Flash (TV Series 1990–1991)
--M.A.N.T.I.S. (TV Series 1994)
--The New Adventures of Wonder Woman (TV Series 1975–1979)
--The Amazing Spider-Man (TV Series 1978–1979)
--Shazam! (TV Series 1974–1977)







'Smallville' had the best run of any superhero show. 10 seasons, I think.

So...no. They won't be making a comeback. But maybe someone will create a character that can be put into a new series, outside of the DC or Marvel 'verses.

There has been talk of an 'Aquaman' live-action series. But I don'tknow if that character was popular enough to carry his own show.
