Frank Herbert vs Brian Herbert
I've heard that the new Dune novels are horrible. I flipped through a few pages of one of them... well, yeah, I've read Dune fanfictions that were better (Google for "Dune Revenant").
"A Iluvatarinya! En na pelecco carinyesse!"
"Oh my God! There's an axe in my head!" :worry:

It could be that the purpose of my life is only to serve as a warning to others.
I've read most of the Brian Herbert books...the prequel trilogy following the three main families a generation or so before Dune, the "ancient" trilogy detailing the Butlerian Jihad, and the two "closing" books set after Chapterhouse and linking the whole polyeonic story. I found them enjoyable, personally.
Always after a defeat and a respite, the Shadow takes another shape and grows again.

I don't have any humble opinions.
