For the past year (maybe longer) I've been wondering about the meaning of this and I've given up trying to guess. On the home page of forums, at the bottom where it shows 'currently active users', some people have astrixs (*) next to their names. Right now it shows:
Quote:Luthien_001*, Paul Goode, RobRoy*, pattip, harmonygirl, starchild*
So the question is: what does the astrix mean?

Those people with an asterisk will be invisible to everyone else, unless your a moderator or administrator.
We see everything.

Really? I'm fairly sure I saw astrixs people before I was made a moderator again. This has been niggling at me for awhile.

I could be wrong. I was just going from the legend at the bottom of the
Current Users link.
It also may be a function that has never worked correctly. <shrug>

I thought they just rolled out bunches of updates every year to make life difficult for Webmasters and forum operators.
