Okay, I saw that story, too, and PURPOSELY did not bring it up here. Huh

However... and mind you this is not for young children or people with a heart condition... if you follow RR's link to the story, there's a convenient link to her website where you can really get a sense of what several gallons of silicone look like encased in human skin.

:jawdrop:

It's actually fascinating, in a freaky way.

I loved the part about how her boyfriend, who had been subsidizing previous enhancement surgeries, begged her not to have this most recent one. Of course she dumped him: "I loved him very much but I had to leave him to follow my dream," she said.

Her line about "her dream" was what did it for me. Perhaps I'm just not the interested in the extremes of breast augmentation, but honestly, what "dream" is she seeking?

Her dream is that she would need a wheelbarrow simply to walk down the street?

Quote from the NBC web site, remarking on the fact she left her bf after he opposed this latest enhancement:
Quote:(note to men: You have to support our dreams, no matter how [scratched in original] deluded and life-threatening[/scratched] silly they might seem!).

Those particular dreams need some serious support, designed by a competent engineer. We'll see how enchanted she is w/ her "twins" in about 10 yrs. There'll be some surplus silicone on the market, I'm sure.

Tripping the Rift had a Pamela Anderson type character that did need a support of that kind to walk around. I always found that to be a funny parody . . . until now.

That got me laughing. Kind of reminds you of those architectural structures with impossibly large cantilevered balconies projected outward. Like FLW's Fallingwater.

Wonder how she manages to sleep with those monsters rolling around?

Come to think of it, wonder how she manages to do a number of everyday tasks... driving and cooking, for starters.

I'm sure we'll learn all of this... and more... once Oprah has her on the show. Rolleyes

Future implants of such size should be pneumatic, or filled with helium...Idea

If filled with a buoyant gas, the larger it is, the more it will support its own weight. The future will see women sporting twin zeppelins. :trio:

Dang, you ain't kiddin AE. It's going to take a cross-functional engineering team for that particular design job. We'll need a civi/structural team looking at both clothing and spinal issues; a mech specializing in fluid mechanics and viscosity to predict dynamic load changes for which the civi/struct team will have to design, and while we're at it, a vibrations specialist to....well write a dissertation on harmonic motion in non-newtonian fluids.
Always after a defeat and a respite, the Shadow takes another shape and grows again.

I don't have any humble opinions.

Don't forget your environmental group for later clean up and remediation, and a survey team, both on the ground and aerial.

Okay, this is just me and I apologize in advance...but I think this screams "I'M A TRASHY BIMBO!" I really don't think this is anything more than some attractive railer park tramp going out to get her 15 minutes, or doing this because she thinks it will make her a better person, or even if it's because she has a low self-esteem. She's an idiot, she's NOT attractive with these dirigibles stuck to her chest, and the money she's spending on chesty bits in BRAZIL could have been spent on something a little more worthwhile HERE! I hope they pop.

Extremes get noticed, and they sometimes get fortune. View Octomom for reference.

It's a shame, but we always pay to see the freaks.

Speaking of "fortune," I meant to reply to Dixieberry's post of awhile back.

Dixieberry Wrote:...

& the answer I'd offer is: she probably hopes to have chauffeurs, cooks, maids, etc to do that! She probably needs a special couch, with separate support for the "twins," to sleep on, now!

Wellllp, looks like there's an update for this story. :alien:

The thrill is gone, they made her sick, she's going back to 'normal'
Now she wants to focus on being a family w/ her 2 children. That is, actual human children needing a mother. I don't remember them even being mentioned previously.
I hope this constitutes a happy ending to this silly saga. :hello:
