It really is a very very clever homage to sci-fi and horror films.... just with sex, cross-dressing and 50's rock added. :crazy: Plus, Susan Sarandon is in her underwear for most of the film - at age 29. :love:

I caught one that I've been wanting to see for a long time this afternoon. I was flipping thru channels, and TCM was showing The Outlaw. Not quite what I expected, but it was entertaining enough. If nothing else it was another portrayal of Doc Holliday, which always interests me. Jane Russell was quite the bombshell, it's surprising she wasn't a bigger star. Not that she did poorly, by any means. Maybe Monroe and Mansfield are so immortalized simply because they died young, where as Russell suffered the indignity of a long life!

Yeah, the breweries have really taken off here, too. I think it's almost exclusively sustained by tourists from Chicago, as the majority of them wouldn't have a chance if they were only supported by locals.

I was actually at that event, but left before they filmed that piece. The young lady organizing the event was a stunning beauty, so for weeks my line was that "Will introduced me to a scrumptious dish.... and also cooked some food for me." :jester: :leech:

Digging up stuff from several years ago now, but I was just poking around here and saw this video. Got a kick out of hearing you speak for the first time after all these years, as far as I can recall, anyway.

Thanks to the dozens of free, ad-supported streaming services out there these days, I'm finally getting to watch some of Bruce Campbell's stuff that I had never seen, like Maniac Cop 2 (I think he's in the first one more, but the second has Claudia Christian, too, so I watched that! ). Also enjoying episodes of Brisco County, Jr. when I make the time for it. In spite of liking it, I can see why it didn't last too long. Finally getting around to Watching Ash Vs Evil Dead, too, but it's slow going. I rarely get to sit down an binge watch things anymore!

Oh my - 4 years and more since this thread was paid attention to!

I agree about Brisco County, and for that matter Jack and Cleo too. 

Biggest shows I've been into recently were Game of Thrones and Walking Dead, and now Vikings.
