This is a three part seriel. I am waiting for the third part tomorrow evening. It is great viewing so far. I imagine that a series could come from this. The main characters are interesting and it is good to see Lou Diamond Phillips.
Sam Neill plays a wealthy ship owner who is losing a lot of ships in the Bermuda Triangle. He assembles a team of specialist to try to figure out how they are being lost. A separate story with Lou Diamond Phillips is running along side this one. So far so good. I can't wait for tomorrow.

This was made for Sci-Fi as a mini-series ....last fall, I think? Forget when. It was pretty well done, and got decent ratings. The plot has been done to death many times before, but this time they added a little xtra $$ and stretched it out to 6 hours. You're right that the diverse team w/ differing talent and skills would make a good core cast for a series, but to date I haven't heard anything about that.
Would you believe it was filmed on the cheap in South Africa?
The director Craig Baxley has a background in genre work, starting as a stunt man in big-budget films like Rollerball, Diamonds Are Forever and Close Encounters, .. then becoming a stunt coordinator for shows like The Dukes of Hazzard and The A-Team... ...then a 2nd unit director (Reds, Predator, The A-Team) and finally main unit, moving from low-budget fare like Dolph Lundgren's I Come in Peace to recent Stephen king adaptations like Storm of the Century, Kingdom Hospital, and Rose Red.
It was written and produced as a collaboration between Rockne O'Bannon (Farscape) Bryan Singer (X-Men) and Dean Devlin (Stargate, ID4.)
And music was by Xena/Herc/Evil Dead composer Joe LoDuca.

Many thanks August.
I thought I recognised some names on the credits.
I really enjoyed this three parter. I hope that something else can come out of it.

There was a topic on this from around the time when it premiered on Sci-Fi.
No one seemed to be all that thrilled or excited with it. I was basically encouraged not to watch it.
I gave it a chance and after about 20 minutes I deleted all three parts.

aha - I didn't realize that was a link to the thread.... I didn't look to see what sort of link it was, and I guess thought it was just a signature or whatever. I bet if we asked nicley, these threads could get merged together....

I am sorry, I did not explain myself too well here Hobbit.
Before I started this thread, I went through the board trying to find one for Triangle. I obviously didn't look hard enough.
You did not mention that the web thread was for Triangle.. I apologise.
