The Screen Actors Guild hosts a conversation with actor, director and producer Kevin Sorbo November 12 in Las Vegas. The event at the Suncoast casino will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be moderated by Duke Morgan.
The event is free to the public, but you must register in advance here. The Suncoast is at 9090 Alta Drive, Rampart and Alta.

SAG should have a better grasp of their membership, let alone someone doing an event! Santa Barbara??!! What, one line, maybe (I think I have a French version!) - certainly not enough for a headline. Still, nice they're doing this.
How do you find this stuff??!! Glad you do, though.

Sounds like an interesting event ..thanks so much for the news Sorbonut. Thats a stunning photo they have as well. I do like that particular shot. Nice article as well.
I wonder why on earth they decided to mention his Santa Barbara appearance...

Thanks Sorbonut and I second that, how do you find this stuff?  It would be wonderful if someone could attend, do we have anyone in that area? Hey Themis maybe they threw in the Santa Barber piece to draw another fanbase, soap fans. HA And I've always loved the picture, yep Stripe he does look stunning!!!!

As this is sponsored by SAG, it is primarily an industry event. Yes, apparently non-members can attend (I clicked on registration and there is a provision for a "guest" category) but if anyone is thinking about a trip to Vegas (always a fun thing to do!), please be very, very aware that this is not a fan oriented event... if you've ever watched any of the Actors Studio things on - A&E? - they'd probably give you an idea of what to expect. It would be great to listen to Kevin talk about his career and acting for that long.

I'm wondering about the Santa Barbara thing, too-as I recall,that was one of his early TV appearances-maybe,as someone here already said,it was mentioned to draw in soap opera fans. Wonder if this is being taped as part of the Actors Studio series? It seems very similar to it.BTW,Themis,that series is on Bravo, not A&E.

There is a page on the SAG Foundation website that tells what"Conversations"is all about. I read it and apparently the interviews are recorded and archived for later viewing by SAG members and anyone interested in joining SAG.
