new Anime forum

you probabley see a lot of requests for new forum these days. I'll however add another to the list. My request is for a Anime Forum. Anime and manga are two highly popular types of video and books. Now only that, a wide variety of topics woudl arouse depending on the literally thousands of anime or manga there are on the Japanese and English market. I'm sure it would gain attention from everyone who likes this type of thing. I personally do. All it would require is a moderator with a basic knowledge of anime or have read a few manga or know some series. For those who don't want to talk about regular books or movies that didn't need to be dubbed in English this forum would be ideal. OVA's or Original video Anime, series, new movies like the Inuyasha movies, anime conventions or just character discussions would and probabley could occur. Otaku (fanatic) that i am , i hope to hear a positive response.

The way new forums are opened here on sf-Fandom is simply if there is a demand on a topic and by demand we mean we see constant posts and threads discussing a certain topic in our other forums then we would consider adding a new forum providing we can find a suitable moderator who also falls into our criteria.

As we are primarily a science fiction and fantasy forum it would need to fall into that genre as well as the PG 13 rating ...and from what I know of Anime and Manga not a lot of it is suitable for that age group unless you get into the kiddie ones. Aside from the fact that doing a quick search on Google you can find literally dozens of Anime forums already out there.
