can anyone help with an american(?) movie from around the time of Deliverance. The story line was set in the south of america, boy falls in love with misfit girl. She is raped by a group of boy, and dies later in the movie. He fills the back of his pick up truck with flowers from the gardens around the township to place on her grave. I don't recall many other details - he was the the town football hero. Names of actors would also help if anyone can
