As far as I can tell, it's more of a talking point for political pundits. Both liberals and conservatives seem to attack each other with it. Boycotts have been around for ages.

Sorry. Tried reading those articles and one is missing while I've exhausted my free reads for New York Times this month.

I used to have an account with them but their inccessant email bombs drove me to cancel. And then I had to redirect all emails sent to that address because they wouldn't stop emailing me.
