Someone please explain the connection to me. I cannot find anything which says how Andre is connected to this edition of Journey to the Center of the Earth

The original edition was a paperback edition in 1988, for Aerie Books Ltd. where Ms. Norton wrote the Forward and Afterwords. I assume that this is a Hard Cover edition with the same Norton content.

Ohhhh. Hm. I may have to buy that (I just won't have time to read it).

Thanks.

Of course they could have made a mistake.

I recently got corrected a book attributed incorrectly to Andre Norton, titled "METAL OF THE DEAD" by contacting the publisher, Bucknell U Press.

But since there is a know instance of Andre Norton writing the new material on JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH by Jules Verne, Joe is very likely correct in that this is a reprint of the earlier Aerie press.

Oh, Andre did the same type of additional text for
Nathaniel Hawthorne THE HOUSE OF THE SEVEN GABLES from TOR in 1989.

Thanks, Irene. I'm not much into Hawthorne, but I may try to pick up the Verne book.
