Interviews with Lucy, and her "dream project" - august - December 26th, 2015

This is a very bare-bones interview with Lucy, from something called Here Is TV, with just the most basic, obvious questions about her career. BUT, check this bit out:

Quote:Q: Do you have a dream project that you would like to work on someday? If so, what is it?

A: Yes, a comedy reteaming of Xena, Gabrielle, Autolocus King of thieves, and Joxer The Mighty. It would be like Expendables meet Peter Sellars.

And then an audio interview with her is at something called The Out Agenda.

While I'd like to say that a successful reboot could lead to projects like this, it's probably unlikely. The general trend these days seems to be not to "mix" different eras or versions of products.

Well, hence the "dream" aspect. :jester: :bg:

Although, ironically, Ren Pics is really the only entity that has ever gotten away with that, apart from the decades-long tradition of comic book properties (where Dean Cain's adventures in Lois
and Clark
weren't connected to Christopher Reeve or the events of Smallville, or to any of the animated movies.

But with the Evil Dead franchise, they manged to both remake the original story with new actors and characters, as well as do a tv sequel to the first and second movies, while (seemingly) ignoring
the third. As well as a video game version that I gather pretty much parallels the current tv series, although set years earlier.
