Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - azrm2k - April 19th, 2006

*taps mic*

Is this thing on? Hello? Testing 1..2..3 Testing...

I'll throw another question up tomorrow if nobody can get this.

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - sgfan13 - April 20th, 2006

I know what episode it's from...but I don't know the name of it. Can I describe the episode and and subject get points for that?

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - azrm2k - April 20th, 2006

Better than no answer..

go for it.

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - sgfan13 - April 20th, 2006

Alright. Here's my attempted description. It's the episode where SG-1 goes to a planet (duh! :-) ) where they find a country at war with another. They ally up with the country providing heavy water (to fuel their technology) in exchange for technology. Then, Daniel brings up the point "Shouldn't we find out why they're in a war before we jump in?" They find out that it's basically an immoral war after the alien (Alar?) asks Teal'c to leave because he's "not like them" or something. Jack then helps the other side basically blow up Alar(?)'s base and escape through the stargate. It goes something like that, at least.

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - azrm2k - April 21st, 2006

Yea the episode is "The Other Side" one of my favorites. Daniel talks about how their world is on fire and their team is providing fuel metaphorically. Teal'c can't keep up and points out that they are indeed providing water.

Go ahead and ask sgfan

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - sgfan13 - April 22nd, 2006

Alright, this one shouldn't be too hard for you guys...
In "The Lost City" (can't remember Part 1 or 2) what is the name of the planet dictated by Jack that had a ZPM?

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - azrm2k - April 25th, 2006

Man this thread is dead...

Didn't want to answer a question right after I asked but if nobody else is gonna take a shot....

And the ball swings back to you.
Aka, correct, your turn.

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - azrm2k - April 27th, 2006

Who is Timothy Harlow?

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - sarahloui - April 27th, 2006

Timothy Harlowe was the geneticist called in to find a cure for Teal'c when he started undergoing the alien insect transformation in the episode 'Bane'. He had worked alongside Sam at some point when she had been at the Pentagon.

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - azrm2k - April 27th, 2006

Yup that's him.

Your turn sarah

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - sarahloui - April 28th, 2006

What were the X-303's later renamed as?
Name two of the ships?

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - mysticalweather - April 28th, 2006

Hello everyone, I've been sick, but now I'm back. Smile

Um...I didn't know the X-303's changed names (unless you count it being called the Prometheus). The X-302 was later changed to F-302...

Anyways, two X-303 ships were Prometheus and Daedalus.

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - azrm2k - April 28th, 2006

I thought the Daedalus was a 304 along with the Oddyssey and Korolev. Also this may have been just internet jargon and not canon but I thought they changed to BC-303 and BC-304 for battlecruiser like F302 is a fighter?

I'll give it to ya Misty, wb hun, sorry to hear you weren't well.

You are right Az , the X-303's changed to BC-303's (Battle Crusiers 303's).

(The Prometheus was the first BC-303, the Deadalus, was an uprgaded version of the Prmo but still considered a BC-303.)

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - mysticalweather - May 1st, 2006

Smile Thanks, sarahloui.

Wow, I learn something new everyday. I didn't know they had changed X-303 to BC-303. Must've missed that somewhere along the way.

Anyways, here we go...

______ pass through everything, no matter how dense.

Name it.
What episode were they discussed in?

And...

What did Jack call them? I'm looking for the the O'Neillism (when he purposely calls something by the wrong name) that he uses in the episode.

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - azrm2k - May 1st, 2006

In "Crystal Skull" he called them Nintendos IIRC. I think it was neutrinos?

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - mysticalweather - May 2nd, 2006

Yes, indeed. You are correct! Smile

Your turn!

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - azrm2k - May 2nd, 2006

Who are Burke and Woods?

Stargate Trivia - Vol 5 - azrm2k - May 4th, 2006

Hint: They're military friends from Jack's past.
